Content management systems are the way forward for Internet
design. As long as you, the user, have a basic understanding
of document creation software such as Microsoft Word,
you will be able to take control of your website by adding,
editing and removing pages from your website.
Although simple knowledge of HTML can be advantageous,
it is not necessary in order to create professional
pages which seamlessly merge with the rest of your
site. You
cannot get it wrong! Because you do not edit the whole
page – merely the content of the page, the pages
you create will always look as good as the rest of the
website. Our Content Management Systems are very flexible. Without
any complicated web-knowledge, you can easily upload
images to use in your pages, create tables, apply formatting
such as bold or italic, insert Adobe Flash media, link
to other pages in your site or other sites and much more.
Pages can be simply deactivated at the press of
a button, removing them from your site; and reactivated
again just
as easily. This means you can temporarily remove pages
of your site as and when required, without affecting
things such as the navigation. Our Content Management Systems
have Search Engines in mind! It is even possible to
customise SEO aspects of
a page’s code such as meta description and meta
keywords, meaning that the pages you create, can be as
effective as static, hand-coded pages.
Furthermore, having a Content Management System no-longer
means you have to have a dynamic URL (such as http://www.mysite.com/page.aspx?id=1234)
which are not search-engine friendly. Our Content Management
Systems work perfectly with URL Re-Writing systems meaning
dynamic URLs (such as http://www.mysite.com/page.aspx?id=1234)
can become search-engine friendly URLs (such as http://www.mysite.com/mypage.html).
Our systems are intuitive meaning that if you are familiar
with platforms such as Microsoft Office or Open Office
etc, you will be able to start working with our Content
Management System immediately.
Changes to your website can be made from anywhere – work
or home; in-fact anywhere in the world with Internet
access via a login screen (at http://www.yoursite.com/control).
Our systems do not restrict the abilities of advanced
users, as they have the ability to edit the raw code that
makes up the content of each web-page.
Our Content Management System is a multi-user environment.
This means several users can make changes to your website,
each with their own account. Each user may be given
different privileges and/or the ability to edit
certain sections/pages
of your site.
- User-A is a global user.
They can make any change to any part of the website.
- User-B is from Department-B. They can only make changes
to pages from the Department-B section.
- User-C is a restricted user. They are not able to access
advanced controls such as the ability to edit raw
HTML code.
